The Evolution of Land Transportation

Transportations are needed to move from one place to another.  Earlier people use the bullocks or animal carts to travel themselves or for moving their things. As the time gone, transportation mediums are getting modernized as people have crafted lots of things for travelling. Now we have lots of options to travel from one place to another. We can opt according to our time, budget and off course environment. Here, we are discussing the Land Transportations.

Land Transportations are used not only for travelling of peoples but also used for moving of things. They are even compatible to move the large products from big industries. We need them for travelling or for moving thing things between two locations. Any sort of things can be moved by land vehicles such as machinery, food items, electronics, apparels,   daily need, party hire and many more. There are number of options such as Motor vehicles, Buses, Trains, Cars and Trucks (Different Size). We can choose them according to our convenience and requirement.

Some of the land transportations Vehicles mainly used for moving are described below:

·        Trains: Train is a vehicle which runs on tracks or rails. They run with passengers and with cargos or loaded with other vehicles as well. Mainly they are used to cover the long distances between cities and towns. Earlier train uses the steal engines but now they get power from gasoline or electricity. They can be considered as an economical medium for moving the large and regular cargo for long distance at domestic level.




     Buses: Bus is a big vehicle with long body. It has several rows of seats or benches for sitting of passenger. They usually operate on a schedule and can carry people with long distances. People used them for travelling between two cities or locations.

     Truck: The trucks are designed in such way that it can carry materials of all kinds. Some trucks are designed big in size for actually performing the picking up cargo.  They have a flat bed behind the passenger compartment which can carry any type of things. Usually they are used where trains and boats cannot travel. Today’s 18-wheeler trucks are also available in market which are very big in size and has 18 separate wheels and hence capable to carry large cargo as well.
